Molly and George’s wedding was a beautiful blend of love, history, and culture. Molly, a South Jersey native with a passion for American history, and George, hailing from England, met while teaching abroad. Their story is a classic tale of fate bringing two people together from different worlds.
The couple chose the Powel House in Philadelphia as their wedding venue, a location rich in history, which perfectly matched Molly’s love for the past. The Powel House, once visited by George Washington and many other of our founding fathers, added a profound sense of significance to their special day.
The day began at the Guild House Hotel, where Molly, surrounded by her closest friends, prepared to meet George for the first time. Meanwhile, George and his brother Jack were getting ready, and I was able to capture a few moments with them before the big reveal.
Their first look was nothing short of enchanting. Molly looked every bit the princess, and the joy on George’s face when he saw her for the first time was priceless. After their private moment, we ventured through Philadelphia, capturing their love in the city’s historic and scenic spots.
Their ceremony at the Powel House was intimate and emotional. As they exchanged vows, it was evident that their union was not just a celebration of their love, but also a merging of two families and cultures.
The day was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple—charming, joyful, and deeply connected. Molly and George were a delight to be around, and their wedding was truly a day to remember. I wish them all the happiness in the world and hope our paths cross again in the future.
